Hey everyone — it’s been a wild year, and I wanted to share something we’ve been working on that could be a serious game-changer.

We’re building an AI-powered estimating app designed specifically for painting contractors. It uses computer vision to generate full estimates — straight from a photo or video.

Here’s what it will do:

- Detect all paintable surfaces and service items

- Auto-measure square footage and linear footage

- Reference industry averages for pricing

- Calculate material needs

- Generate a detailed, branded quote ready to send to the customer for approval

- Trigger material orders from your supplier (phase 2)

Our goal is to cut estimating time by 90%, remove the guesswork around pricing, and raise the bar for professionalism in our industry.

We're starting with paint, but FIELDVUE will eventually expand to serve other trades that rely on surface-based measurements.

We’re gearing up for beta testing over the next 60 days. We’re specifically looking for painters in different parts of the country — varied house styles, regional challenges, etc. — to help us train the model on real-world diversity.
