Yesterday, we were proud to celebrate the ribbon cutting at Maxwell Estates, marking an important milestone in the renovation of this senior housing community.

As the project architect, Architectural Alliance is honored to have been part of revitalizing this existing development, which includes 60 one-bedroom senior apartment units, along with an addition to the existing community building.

Projects like Maxwell Estates are a meaningful opportunity to reinvest in existing communities, enhance living environments, and support the needs of residents while building on the foundation already in place.

Congratulations to Milford Housing Development Corporation, Housing Delaware, and everyone involved in this project and thank you for the opportunity to contribute to the continued improvement of senior housing in Harrington!

Celebrating Housing Progress in Wilmington! 🏘️

Architectural Alliance is proud to have served as the architect for The Flats Phase V, helping bring 53 affordable homes for seniors ages 62 and older to Wilmington’s historic West Side.

As architects, we believe thoughtful design can do more than create buildings. It can shape communities, support well-being, and improve quality of life. The Flats Phase V reflects that vision, combining quality housing with welcoming community spaces, a fitness center, library, wellness rooms, outdoor raised gardens, and supportive services that help residents thrive.

As the fifth phase of The Flats redevelopment, this project builds on a longstanding commitment to the neighborhood, transforming a historic workforce housing community into a place where residents can live, connect, and age with dignity.
We are honored to have contributed our architectural expertise to this important initiative and to collaborate with HDC MidAtlantic, the Todmorden Foundation, Housing Delaware, and the many partners who made this project possible.

Congratulations to the entire project team on this meaningful milestone in expanding affordable senior housing in Wilmington!

This past Friday, we were privileged to welcome members of the The American Institute of Architects D.C. Board of Architects for a tour of the Urban Artist Exchange Project in Wilmington, DE. Cityfest Wilmington

It was such an honor that they chose our project to visit as they made their way to their retreat. We enjoyed the opportunity to share more about the project, the vision behind it, and the work that went into bringing it to life.

Thank you to AIA for choosing to spend some time with us! We loved having you here and sharing this special project with you!

And a special shout-out to our very own Gary Seward and Kevin W Wilson for being awesome hosts and for pouring their hearts into this project from the very beginning. Their passion, creativity, and dedication are truly what make the Urban Artist Exchange Project so special. We’re so proud of the vision they brought to life!

We're honored to be recognized in Phius' June Certified Projects and proud to be part of the team that helped develop Delaware's first Phius Certified Passive House projects.

Designing buildings that are energy-efficient, resilient, healthy, and comfortable isn't just about meeting today's standards, it's about creating communities that will serve generations to come.

One of the most rewarding parts of our profession is seeing a vision become a place people genuinely enjoy.

For this private club, the goal of the renovation was to create more than just a clubhouse, we wanted to design a welcoming destination that celebrates the golf course and brings members together while addressing the varied needs to the members and staff. The elevated terrace, covered outdoor seating, and expansive views allow the architecture to engage with the landscape while providing spaces for relaxation, dining, and social events.

Seeing members enjoy these spaces exactly as intended is what makes projects like this so meaningful. Proud to have been part of the team that brought this project to life.

Congratulations to Carson Development on today's grand opening of The Reese Apartments. This new development brings 48 affordable housing units to Felton, DE.

We are proud to have been part of the team that helped bring this much-needed project to life. Developments like this do more than provide housing, they create opportunities, strengthen communities, and make a lasting positive impact for residents and families.
