For this David Lennard Builders project, our team handled multiple roofing and exterior scopes across a seriously one-of-a-kind waterfront home. From the mechanically seamed metal roof on the main house to the low-slope roof system on the detached structure, custom cladding, and metal work on the dock structure, this project called for experience in more than one lane.

For Trinity United Methodist Church in downtown Wilmington, NC, our crew installed Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions’s DaVinci Roofscapes Multi-Width Slate in Black, a synthetic slate roofing system made to stand up against fading, rotting, cracking, and pests. A “free roof” because they “cover your deductible” sounds nice, until you realize that’s illegal. In North Carolina, roofing contractors cannot legally waive, absorb, rebate, or “cover” your insurance deductible. That deductible is part of your policy, and the contractor is required to collect it.
If someone is promising a “free roof,” that’s your sign to slow down and ask questions. Give us a call. No pressure, just straight answers.
