Club at Midtown formally broke ground this week and hosted a behind the scenes look at construction progress. The event was attended by partners, media, and Wilmington's own Mayor Saffo. Through private membership, Club at Midtown brings a variety of amenities and sports to the community such as an on site restaurant, pool & spa, golf simulators and indoor and outdoor pickleball courts. Members can enjoy long-loved sports such as tennis, get in a workout at the gym, all with the opportunity to try something new.

Construction has already been underway for months at The Club at Midtown, but developers officially marked the project’s progress with a ceremonial groundbreaking event on May 18, drawing community leaders and supporters as anticipation builds for the club’s planned September opening.

We are excited to bring Hollywood East Brewseum to life. This historic building was built in 1928 and is transforming into a theater-pub that celebrates Wilmington's rich film history through atmosphere and offerings.

A new film- and TV-themed restaurant is set to take shape in the former Rose Ice & Coal building on Market Street in Wilmington. The restaurant, called the Hollywood East Brewseum, will celebrate the movies and TV shows filmed in Wilmington, said Tyler Christensen, who’s spearheading the project. ...

February 13th, 2026 marked the 9th year of Night to Shine Wilmington, NC! Night to Shine provides a memorable prom night experience for people with special needs ages 14 and older. Since its inception in 2017, over 2,800 guests have been hosted by the local community with volunteer and church support. DAE Building is proud to be a primary sponsor for Night to Shine since the first prom and proms of the future.
