We potentially saved a house from catching fire!

Multiple switches were not working in the home. We discovered aluminum wiring that need some attention. The wire nut we circled on the left should be orange, but instead was black from melting.

Extension chords were used instead of standard house wiring, which when connected to the aluminum wiring caused the melting.

Static electricity can do a lot of really cool things!

Try this science experiment if you've always wanted to be a waterbender:

Slowly turn on your faucet until you have a thin stream of water flowing

Take a dry, plastic comb and brush it through your hair ten times (or vigorously rub it with a sock)

Slowly bring the comb close to the flowing water (without touching the water) and watch the water bend towards the comb!
