Having personally been at it 30 years, and our location being in operation nearly 50 years as a franchise, I’d say this is a very cool bit of news, and nice recognition for the company as a whole.

With less than two weeks to go, before we get out on the lawns with our first application of pre emergent crabgrass control…….we’re hoping to avoid the SNOW word.
C’mon springtime, we prefer GREEN!!

Fall services in Delaware have wrapped up, as we close out another successful season.
We’ve got a few more jobs left to complete in our Pennsylvania location, and then we recharge our batteries, both figuratively and literally….getting ready for 2023.

Early October, we received a call from a woman who was very frustrated with a large, national lawn care company. She had worked with them for two seasons in order to try to establish turf.
I scheduled a consultation with her, explained to her what my thoughts were on her specific situation/scenario, and ultimately put a plan in place to get things moving in the right direction. The following week I aerated the front and sides of the property. I then had my friend John Orsini from Orsini’s Topsoil in Hockessin deliver several yards of beautiful topsoil to our now customer, and top dress the existing “lawn”.
The next day, October 13th 2022, we returned to overseed with high quality Tall Fescue grass seed from my friend David Greenleaf from Turf Solutions.
Yesterday marked one month post service…..and she has the start of a beautiful tall fescue lawn.
That’s how you do things folks……

This lawn was loaded with crabgrass around the edges due to w**d whacking, and field grasses in some weak spots through the turf.

The customer was slightly concerned with the way the lawn looked about 10 days post app (in Early September), but said she’d “wait it out” because I told her it would be a huge improvement a month down the road.

After one application of the necessary control products, and an early fall application of fertilizer, it rebounded extremely well.
A job done right, and a happy customer.
Moral of the story, trust the process. 👍🏼👊🏼
