π’ A LITTLE PSA FROM ALLIANCE ROOFING βοΈπ
To our wonderful customers and future customers, we want to share a little reminder during these brutally hot North Carolina days.
When itβs 90β95Β° on the ground, the temperature on a roof can easily climb well above 120Β°F and depending on the roofing material and conditions, potentially much higher. Our crews are working directly in that heat while doing physically demanding work all day.
Because of that, you may see our guys taking longer or more frequent breaks during the hottest part of the day. They may sit in the shade, cool down, hydrate, eat, and give their bodies time to recover. And yes, sometimes theyβll work later into the evening because once that sun starts going down, itβs much safer and more manageable to work.
Please don't mistake those breaks for laziness or think the crew isn't working hard. Those breaks are there to help prevent heat exhaustion and heat stroke. No roof or schedule is worth risking someone's health.
These men work incredibly hard, and we are proud of them. ππ We ask our customers to please have a little patience and understanding when you see them taking the time they need to cool down.
We want your roof done right but we also want every member of our crew going home safe to their family at the end of the day. β€οΈ
