Hello everyone,
I hope you and your families are doing well and staying cool during this summer heat. I wanted to take a few minutes to provide some important updates regarding our services, summer scheduling, and a personal family matter that may affect my day-to-day involvement with the company in the coming weeks.
First, I want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support, trust, and loyalty to Brian's Lawn Care Inc. Many of you have been with us for years, and I truly appreciate the relationships we've built together. My goal has always been to provide reliable service, honest communication, and to treat your property as if it were my own.
As summer arrives, property needs will constantly change. As many of you have noticed, we have received very little rainfall recently. Unless you have irrigation, lawns simply are not growing as they normally would. With that being said, please be prepared for occasional skips in mowing services. Our goal is to keep your lawn as healthy as possible, and mowing grass that is not actively growing can create unnecessary stress on the turf.
Please know that everyone will remain on their regular weekly schedule. If I decide to skip mowing due to weather conditions or lack of growth, we will still be on-site performing smaller tasks around your property. This may include pulling or spraying w**ds, blowing off walkways and porches, picking up tree limbs, cleaning up landscape beds, and other minor maintenance items to help keep your property looking its best. We want to continue providing value during every visit, even when mowing is not necessary.
I also want to touch on heat advisories and extreme temperatures. When you receive your automated text message the day before your scheduled service, please keep in mind that if you are scheduled later in the day, there may be times when we need to postpone service due to dangerous heat conditions. If that happens, you will be notified and rescheduled for the following day. My number one responsibility during the summer months is the health and safety of my team. While we always do our best to stay on schedule, there are times when the heat index reaches unsafe levels and adjustments must be made.
Lastly, I wanted to share a personal update with all of you. On Monday, June 8th, my mother was rushed into emergency surgery. She has been on a ventilator for over a week with very little improvement and now on end of life comfort measures. I wanted to update everyone that there is a very good chance I will be taking a leave of absence in the near future.
As many of you know, over the years we have struggled with finding and retaining employees. However, for the time being, that has changed. A few months ago, I hired a foreman, Timothy, who has gradually taken on a larger leadership role within the company. I am happy to say he has done an outstanding job. He has worked alongside me, is familiar with your properties, and understands the level of service and attention we strive to provide.
With that being said, when I do take my leave of absence to care for my mother and handle family matters, Timothy will be in charge of the day-to-day operations until I return. I will still be around and involved in the business when needed, just not as much as I normally am.
If you need anything during that time, I ask that you please contact Timothy first. I also ask for your patience and understanding as he steps into this role. While this crew is relatively new to working together as a team, every member is experienced and has been to your properties with me multiple times.
I have made it very clear to Timothy that any concerns or requests from our clients are to be addressed promptly and professionally. He and the crew understand that you are not only my clients, but also theirs, and that providing quality service remains our top priority.
Timothy and I will remain in regular communication, and if at any time you feel your concerns are not being addressed or you are not getting the results you expect, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
I sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, support, and prayers during this difficult time for my family. Your kindness means more than you know, and I am grateful to have such wonderful clients.
Thank you for your continued trust in
Brian's Lawn Care Inc.
Sincerely,
Brian BashoreBrian's Lawn Care Inc.
