We’re excited to share that Bankston was recognized as Preservationist of the Year by the Preservation of Wilson at their Annual Garden Party yesterday afternoon!

It’s an honor to be part of a community that values preserving Wilson’s history, and we’re thankful to play a small role in that ongoing effort.

Last week, Bankston attended the CLG/HPC Training at the Museum of the Albemarle in Elizabeth City!

The session focused on identifying and designating historic properties, CLG and HPC responsibilities, architectural history, and uncovering hidden symbols and marks within historic structures.

This training also served as continuing education in support of Bankston’s service on the City of Wilson Historic Preservation Committee, helping strengthen ongoing efforts in local preservation work.

We place strong value on preserving historic landmarks and supporting the restoration of our downtown communities. Opportunities like this help us continue that mission with care, knowledge, and respect for the history that shapes our region.

Finishing things up at the Watauga County Emergency Services Headquarters!

Our crew is in the final phase of installing a weather-tight roofing system, along with 22-gauge painted steel wall panels from Construction Metal Products, Inc. and a Versico Roofing Systems single-ply TPO membrane, designed to protect this essential facility for the long haul.

We appreciate the partnership with Greene Construction and the design work by Clark Nexsen, A JMT Company. Proud to play a role in a project that will support the Watauga County community for years to come!

Some jobs come with a view, and this one doesn’t disappoint! 🏔️

We’re proud to be working alongside Davie Construction Co. on the roofing at Laurel Wood Apartments, a beautiful 62+ community set against the Blue Ridge Mountains. Between the fresh mountain air and the chance to spot local wildlife, it’s a pretty special place to be on the job.

Quality work, great partners, and a view we won’t complain about.

We kicked off an exciting project yesterday!

Our team is proud to be installing a mechanical lock standing seam metal roofing system on the new Croatan National Forest Ranger Station. Projects like this are what we love, quality craftsmanship, long-lasting materials, and being part of something that serves the community for years to come.
