HUDSON FRIENDS- I’m delivering on Sunday, Mother’s Day morning.
The plant list is here! It is definitely pared down for this year.
The flowers look healthy but young. Tomatoes look amazing. Peppers are getting there 🤣 Pictures of flowers will be added in comments soon.
TOMATOES: Single pots only! $3 each
Juliet-very prolific red grape tomato. Crack resistant.
Sun Gold- prolific yellow cherry tomato
Sun Cherry- prolific red cherry tomato
Chocolate Pear- red flesh and green skin makes this delicious pear tomato have a chocolate-like color!
Carolina Gold- best yellow tomato I’ve grown. Crack resistant, best when deep golden yellow, almost orange. Keeps well on counter.
Big Beef- all around great tomato. Indeterminate plant produces 10-12 oz tomatoes all season long!
Mountain Fresh Plus- disease resistant, determinate plant puts lots of 8-10 oz tomatoes on mostly at once. Good for a little later-season production
SuperTom!- this super tomato is an indeterminate beefsteak-type that is meaty enough for all-purpose uses!
Heatmaster- this determinate beefsteak type will put on tomatoes during the heat of summer when other plants stop setting!
SuperSauce- 4 ft indeterminate plants put on paste tomatoes up to 2lbs
Flying Saucer- this paste-type puts on multiple prolific flushes of tomatoes!
Big Mama- another great indeterminate paste tomato producing 8-10 oz fruit that’s perfect for sauce, soups, and more
Saucy Lady- this determinate plant sets lots of very firm, meaty 3-4 oz tomatoes.
PEPPERS: Single pots only, $2 each
California Wonder- the standard green pepper; ripens to red
Golden Cal Wonder- a play on California Wonder, these peppers ripen to yellow
Crispy- medium sized peppers ripen early to red, and are great for salads, stuffing, or grilling!
Sunbright- this pepper ripens to yellow, very sweet, and is thick-walled
C***o di toro- this sweet pepper ripens to red, and is a long, horn shape
Pimiento- extra sweet heart shaped peppers are thick-walled
Sweet Banana- the standard banana pepper!
Fooled You- a jalapeño pepper with all the flavor and none of the heat!
Goliath Jalapeño- big plants set large jalapeños perfect for cook, stuffing, and more!
Cayenne- these large, spicy peppers are thick-walled
TOMATILLO-
Gigante Verde- large 4” wide green tomatillos, this variety is earlier, larger, and sweeter than others!
HERBS-
Single pot, multiple plants, $2 each- Kapoor Tulsi basil, holy basil, parsley, thyme, oregano, dill, emerald towers basil.
Four pack herbs, $2 each-genovese (standard) basil, purple ruffles basil, lemon balm, lemon basil
FLOWERS:
Coleus- single 3” pot $3 each- Chocolate Covered Cherry, Kong Mix.
Petunias- four packs, $4 each- deep purple, blue, carmine, petchoa yellow, white, violet, red, black, sky, rose fusion, pink cosmo.
Standard petunias, $3/four pack- black, raspberry shake
