We installed the quartzite counters and 3D tile backsplash picked up from Dal tile in Austin off of south lamar with custom mitered returns and couldn't be happier with the results.

We've done epoxy for years but this was a first for me using Mapei's Kerapoxy.

Finishing up Grout today at our club estates project in Austin TX.
The Epoxy method is used in shower pans when installing on top of a topical waterproofing system where light colorored natural stone is used. This is done to eliminate the frequent dark blotches that show up from water getting trapped betweeen the stone and waterproofing. Epoxy method, when done correctly eliminates this common problem.
