And another one….make sure you are getting people to do your work that will go the extra step and do the job correctly. Professional underlayment needs to be installed prior to any mulch or rock. If not, your landscaped area will end up just like the before pictures.

We removed rock, installed correct underlayment, removed plants for customers, sprayed entire area to kill any existing roots and put rocks back. There will be peace of mind in the future knowing it was done correctly and weeds will be a thing of the past.

SUNDAY QUESTION:

Look at these pics. We are doing a drainage job for a customer who has had some extreme settlement around her pool that has destroyed the integrity of her concrete.

The before is a hole where ground settled over time. It was caused by constant water run off. The question is, how many tons of soil did it take to fill this hole?

Is your sump pump making your side yard a muddy mess? Yup, same here.

We connected to 2” pvc extended into side yard, installed fitting to bring to the 3” and extended with pop up.

Problem solved.

Customer calls us with a problem with weeds. She said two years ago she spent a huge chunk of money with another company to create beds and put river rock down.

Well, when you pay that much money, it should be done correctly. There was no underlayment. No protection from weeds. It was a mess. No border installed so rocks were creeping into yard. We went in and pulled all the river rock, installed underlayment, extended the rock under her deck that wasn’t extended enough. And installed border so that it all stays in place.

Now, it’s don’t correctly. Just bc people say they can do it, doesn’t mean they actually can. Don’t pay for something that you’ll have to pay again to have it fixed. Call us the first time!
