Haven’t had much time to post anything this year but this is a update on the new lawn I installed last fall. Only rain and no irrigation so I can test how heat tolerant this seed blend is. Cut is at 4.5”. So far I’m very happy with the color as this section just never was able to have that nice dark green color. Same fert program as all costumers with fungicide treatments since May 20th. Don’t look at the w**ds haven’t had time this year to mulch or do much about them.

I have had a lot of people ask me about the wildlife food plots I to do here is a small clover plot I did yesterday(1250 sq. Ft). The area was non accessible for mechanical equipment so we had hike handhelds in. First area was cleaned of leaves and sticks with the blower. Then scalped with the w**d eater to bare ground. Then raked with metal rake as they do excellent at removing any small sticks and junk from scalping. I seed with five different clovers(4 forage clovers and white Dutch) at a rate of 1/4 # per 1000sq.ft, this is on the high end of seed as I’m try too fast establish the plot before trees crowd out the sun. Will give updates in a few weeks.

Ok beginning updates on the new lawn for 4 weeks now today at 28 days it's cut for the first time @ 4" plan is to never cut blow 4". Cut with the old Honda push mower as to do minimal Wight on the lawn.
