We are looking for a few good men and women to join the ProLawn Team, now in our 40th year serving clients in VA, MD and WV.
As a newly hired Lawn Health Care Technician, you will train in all areas, including grounds maintenance, lawn health care spray technician, tree and shrub services, irrigation services, and shop maintenance to become cross-trained in all field staff service areas.
The ultimate goal is to have your own route and service areas once you become fertilizer and pesticide applicator licensed! And we're there all along the way to provide you with the training and support you need to be successful.

Skills and Attributes we're looking for include:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record
- Able and willing to work in various weather conditions day in and day out
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work equally well independently and in a team environment
- Willing to become certified to apply fertilizer and pesticides
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis
- Able to mange time and problem solve independently and within a team
- Previous industry experience is an asset but is not required
We offer YEAR Round employment. Unlike most of our competitors, we DO NOT lay off our field staff in the winter months as we engage in equipment maintenance, shop clean up and organization, and salt sales and snow removal during the "off" season.

Starting Salary range is typically $15 - $17, depending upon experience, with ongoing opportunity for advancement and guaranteed raises upon receiving fertilizer and pesticide applicator certification.
