There’s always time between filing an insurance claim and the adjuster meeting.

In the meantime, we don’t want to leave something like this missing shingle completely exposed to rain, so we documented the condition and then completed a temporary repair while we wait for the adjuster meeting to prevent further damage.

There was a hail storm in Illinois early this morning.

If you or someone you know lives in this area highlighted yellow (or the surrounding areas) we highly recommend getting the exterior of your property inspected by a professional.

We already have several complimentary inspections scheduled to give homeowners peace of mind! We also have verbal confirmation that hail did fall outside of this specific map as well, but this should give you a general idea.

Not every roof assessment ends with finding damage!

It’s best to have a professional document the condition of your roof twice a year for your peace of mind - like this homeowner now has. 👍🏼

Yesterday I inspected a roof that sustained significant hail damage even though the roof was only 1 year old!

A common misconception I see with homeowners is assuming that because their roof is only X years old that they don’t have to worry and it should be in good shape. Although most of the time this could be true, we’ve found significant storm damage on plenty of roofs 1-3 years old.

I recommend having a roof assessment completed at least every 6 months and definitely immediately following any inclement weather.

Earlier this week, through our Brahma Strong program, we were able to donate a roof to Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity

We're blessed to be in a position to help our community and to play a part in providing affordable housing in Northern Colorado.

I'm excited about the positive impact we've already had and I'm looking forward to continuing these efforts as we grow!

If you’re a real estate agent or you’re looking to buy a home or sell your home - we highly recommend having a roofing professional inspect the roof and exteriors before closing to ensure everything is in good condition.

Although shingles are a major component of your roofing system, there’s so much more that goes into ensuring everything is protected.

After tear off, we inspect the roof decking to ensure it’s in good shape, then install high quality ice and water shield and underlayment to ensure everything is completely water tight.

We use GAF - Roofing ice and water shield, underlayment, shingles, starter strip, and ridge cap because these products were manufactured to work together AND they’re all included in our System Plus 50 Year material warranty.
