living soil that is created nurtures healthy plants and leads to happy gardeners. GreenGro produces products that breathe life into your soil, with all natural & organic ingredients and without harmful side effects. Everyone talks about microbes… but not all microbial products do the same thing.

In this video, Mark breaks down the difference between worm castings, mycorrhizae, and concentrated microbial blends so you can choose the right tool for your garden.

🌱 Worm castings help break down organic matter and feed your soil.
🌱 Mycorrhizae attach to roots and help plants take up more water and nutrients.
🌱 Concentrated microbial products like BioMend+ are packed with beneficial microbes such as Bacillus, Streptomyces, and Trichoderma to help support soil health and protect your root zone.

The healthier your soil biology is, the stronger and more resilient your plants can be.

Your plants aren’t dying… they’re stressed. 😅

You brought home new plants, gave them a new pot, new soil, a new location… and now they look unhappy.

That’s transplant shock, and it happens to almost every gardener at some point.

A few simple things can make a huge difference:
🌿 Harden off your plants before moving them outdoors
🌿 Use a gentle soil mix, not something overloaded with fertilizer
🌿 Make sure the planting hole is the right size
🌿 Give roots time to adjust to their new environment

And if your plants are still struggling, Mark recommends using Green Aminos. Just one teaspoon per gallon of water can help reduce transplant shock, support healthy root development, and get your plants growing again.

Transplant shock is common. It’s also fixable. 🌱

Blossom End Rot on your tomatoes? 🍅

If you’ve ever noticed the bottom of your tomatoes turning soft, dark, or discolored, you’re probably dealing with blossom end rot.

The good news? It’s one of the easiest problems to prevent.

Mark recommends adding a soluble calcium source early in the growing season, especially when your tomato plants start flowering. Calcium helps support healthy fruit development and can dramatically reduce blossom end rot.

He also recommends supporting your plants with trace minerals and amino acids. One of the easiest options is Green Aminos — just a teaspoon per gallon of water helps provide amino acids, calcium, and essential trace minerals your plants need to thrive.

Healthy roots. Healthy plants. Better tomatoes. 🍅🌿

Why is some soil so cheap? 🌱

Not all soil is made the same.

Some bags are cheaper because they’re filled with low-quality ingredients, wood chunks, green waste compost, or fillers that don’t really help your plants thrive.

Good soil needs better ingredients: peat moss, coco coir, perlite, worm castings, organic food, and fermented biochar.

It may cost a little more upfront, but your plants will feel the difference.

Healthy soil = healthier plants 🌿

Is your soil ready for the season?

Before you add more fertilizer, start with the soil. Healthy soil feeds your plants the right way — with microbes, carbon, and all the good stuff your roots need.

For raised beds or large pots, worm castings are always a great place to start. Mix them in, give your soil life, and let your plants do the rest.

Transplant shock, part 2 🌱

Moving a plant into new soil can be a lot for the roots, so don’t rush it.

Keep the soil as compatible as you can, be gentle with the root ball, and skip the heavy fertilizer for the first few weeks. The goal is to help the plant settle in, not stress it out.

A little mycorrhiza, clean water, aloe, seaweed, or our Green Aminos can make the transition way easier and help your plants bounce back faster.

Part 2 of 2.

Why do plants get transplant shock?

When you move a plant into a new home, the roots go through a lot. New soil, different pH, different watering, different texture… it all matters.

Be gentle with the root ball, don’t overwater, and make sure your new soil is compatible with what the plant is already used to.

Part 2 coming soon.
