This is when a commission base employee goes out to access a flood and tries to sell a 10K repipe to the homeowner without doing a proper diagnosis.
The water heater was leaking the whole time.
How do you think the owners would have felt when the repipe was done, holes everywhere in their home and when the water was turned back on and they still had a bad leak ???
I installed a new heater,drain pan and shut off valve problem solved.

Here are some before and after pictures of today's work.
It's hard for me to understand why some people call themselves plumbers, and do sloppy work like this.
The only thing holding the expansion tank was the strap, the bag had burst and the tank was full of water, luckily for the homeowner the strap was screwed into a stud.
The water filter pictures speaks for itself. A mess indeed.
Everything has been professionally redone including a new carbon filter.
Happy homeowner is my way.
