Things are really starting to take shape here in Champaign! 🚧💦

We’ve officially kicked off a new pool project and the transformation is already underway.

What started as excavation and a fresh hole in the ground is now moving into framing and early plumbing, giving us the first real look at the shape of what’s to come.

There’s still a long way to go, but this is always one of the most exciting stages of a build, when the vision starts becoming something you can actually see.

Two days. A lot of big ideas. And one reminder that keeps coming back to us: people matter.

Our Sunrise Pool Builders team just wrapped up another Global Leadership Summit, and we’re incredibly grateful that we get to bring our team back to this experience year after year. Watching our team grow and getting to grow alongside them is something we don’t take for granted.

This year’s Summit brought together incredible voices and perspectives on leadership, purpose, culture, connection and the future of work. And in a world where AI is changing so much of what we do, one thing felt especially clear:

AI can help us work smarter. It can’t replace human connection.

It can’t look someone in the eye and make them feel seen.
It can’t build trust over a conversation.
It can’t celebrate a teammate’s win.

🚜 Every incredible pool starts with a hole in the ground.

This week, our crew reached a major milestone as excavation wrapped up on another commercial pool project.

💥 13 truckloads of dirt removed.
✅ Excavation complete.
✅ Stone base preparation underway.
⏭️ Next up: framing and plumbing.

To most people, it may just look like dirt and heavy equipment. To us, it's the beginning of another space where families, athletes, and communities will make memories for years to come.

🚜 Breaking Ground in Cedar Rapids! 💦

Every great pool starts with a solid foundation, and our Cedar Rapids, Iowa project is off to a strong start.

The excavation is complete, the stone base has been leveled, and underground plumbing trenches are in place. The pool is now ready for framing, bringing this project one big step closer to becoming a place where families and the community will make memories for years to come.

Next up, our crew will begin preparing the hot tub and cold plunge areas as construction continues to take shape.

From construction zone to inspection ready. 💦

It's amazing what a few weeks can do.

Not long ago, this project was filled with unfinished surfaces, exposed systems, and crews working through the countless details required to bring a commercial pool to life. Today, the pool is cleaned up, equipment is installed, safety features are being finalized, and we're preparing for inspection.

What most people don't see is everything that happens behind the scenes — plumbing, electrical, chemical systems, equipment calibration, safety installations, and hundreds of small details that all have to come together before a facility can safely welcome its first swimmers.

This project is now in the final stretch, and we're excited to see it cross the finish line.

✨Meet the Team Tuesday | Meet Tiffany ✨

Every successful project starts long before construction begins. Materials have to be sourced, ordered, tracked, and delivered at the right time. That's where Tiffany comes in.

As Sunrise Pool Builders' Purchasing Manager, Tiffany helps make sure our crews have what they need to keep projects moving forward. She loves seeing all the pieces come together and knowing she played a role in helping bring a project to life.

Tiffany has been with Sunrise for over two years and describes herself as obsessive, passionate, and outgoing. Those qualities serve her well in a role where attention to detail and communication can make all the difference.

She's an early riser who prefers to tackle her day first thing in the morning, and she's currently expanding her knowledge of automatic pool cover systems. Around the office, she's known for her strong communication skills and her ability to keep things organized and moving forward.

When she's not working, you'll likely find her spending time with family, enjoying cars and horses, or dreaming about her next trip to Florida. And if you ask her about her future plans, she'll confidently tell you she's going to win the lottery someday. 😄

The finish line is getting closer on this project and the Sunrise crew has been grinding to stay ahead of the June 8 final inspection deadline. 💪

Over the last two days, major progress has been made in the equipment room with systems, bonding, and power continuing to come together. Electrical crews have been hard at work powering critical pool components while final details around the pool and mechanical systems continue moving forward.

Behind every finished commercial pool is a LOT happening that most people never see — plumbing, heaters, chemical systems, sensors, automation, inspections, and countless moving parts all have to come together perfectly before the first splash ever happens.

We’re officially under the wire now, but the team keeps pushing forward one step at a time. Stay tuned… this one is getting close. 💦

Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer for so many families. Pools are opening, kids are jumping in for the first time this season, grills are firing up, and people are spending time together outdoors making memories. 🇺🇸

At Sunrise Pool Builders, we love being part of the spaces where those moments happen.

But today is also about something bigger.

As we enjoy the freedoms, fun, and time with loved ones this weekend, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made sacrifices to protect those freedoms. Their courage and service are the reason we are able to enjoy moments like these with the people we care about most.
