The U.S. Highway 18/S.D. Highway 44 project in Winner was recently announced as an American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) National award-winner in excellence for concrete paving in the “Streets & Municipal Intersections >30,000 SY” category.

This two-year project completed the reconstruction of the roadway through Winner. This project also upgraded the sidewalk, ADA panels, lighting through town, underground utilities and the roadway on Highways 18 and 44.

Congratulations to everyone who played a role in the SDDOT earning national recognition on this project! The awards ceremony will be held in December at the ACPA Annual Meeting in Phoenix.
