There are two types of Mini Splits there are inverted mini splits and non inverted

The main difference between an inverted and non-inverted mini split lies in their compressor speed. An inverted Mini Split has a variable speed compressor, while a non-inverted Mini Split has a fixed speed compressor. Variable speed compressors are more energy efficient than their fixed counterparts and make less noise as well.

So be careful who you purchase a Mini Split from because there are a lot of disposable type mini splits so if someone says they can sell you a mini split and install it for $1000 do not buy it with out research it could be a non inverted mini split or disposable and you don’t want it!!!!!
