This is a Quart milk bottle from the old family farm in Norfolk Connecticut. L.J. Marchand was my great grand father. His father Louis, my great, great, grandfather started the farm in the late 1800’s. The Farm passed down to my grandfather Don who ran the dairy farm up into the 1940’s where my dad worked as a little boy. They stopped producing milk somewhere in the early 40’s. So this bottle is over 80 years old just as my dad would be. And to think my dad probably filled this bottle with fresh milk so many years ago. I sure miss him.
