YELLOWJACKETS ARE ACTIVE IN THE TRIAD
Seeing more yellowjackets around your yard or home? During late summer, colonies are often at their largest and their activity becomes easier to notice.
If several yellowjackets are repeatedly entering and leaving the same spot—such as a hole in the ground, an opening in a wall or an area beneath a deck—there may be a nest nearby.
Avoid disturbing or blocking the nest opening, and keep children and pets away from the immediate area.
