Rabbit-eye blueberries grow 6 to 8 feet tall in full sun. They produce sweet edible berries, have fantastic fall color & are a host plant for 217 species of caterpillars as well as a pollen specific host plant for 14 native bee species.

Although blueberries are self-fertile, planting multiple cultivars that bloom at the same time will allow them to produce more berries.

We have four varieties available that are early, mid, and late-season bloomers. Planting each can extend your harvest period from June through July.

Blueberries prefer acidic soil with a pH around 5.0. We recommend amending with pine bark fines to help loosen the clay soil for drainage without altering the pH.

We have ‘Climax’, ‘Premier’, ‘Tifblue’ & ‘Powderblue’ available in 3 gallon pots for $28.

We have a wide selection of shrubs available:

These projects have a huge impact on students giving them a wonderful opportunity to see nature up close and the learn about the importance of native plants.
