Looking for experienced service technicians for steep roof systems (Tile, Shingle & Metal) in the Palm Beach County area. The basic responsibilities of our service technicians is to complete repairs to the specifications of the manufactures and customers satisfaction. This position will inspect roof for damage and investigate roof leaks, diagnose the source of the leak and repair the roof in accordance with manufactures specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform repairs and maintenance on all roof systems mentioned above.
• Must be able to communicate with customers as well as administrative staff.
• Perform repairs in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines. Ensures all work is completed in a craftsman like manner and to the specifications and satisfaction of the customer and Nations Roof.
• Ensure all proper material, tools and safety gear is are on the truck prior to leaving the shop.
• Takes before and after photos of all work performed. Fills out paperwork properly and accurately.
• Problem solver and solution oriented.
• Deadline and Detail oriented.
• Strong organization skills.
• “Go-Getter” Attitude.
• Must be schedule driven.
• Performs any other duty or task assigned by the service superintendent, service manager and/or operations team.

Requirements:
• 2+ years of roofing experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Verifiable previous experience in the roofing industry.
• Bi-Lingual a plus.
• This is a drug free work place, you must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must be able to travel.
• Team Player

Hurricane Ian is headed our way and rapidly strengthening. Here’s how you can prepare your roof and your property.

According to projections, the West coast and central Florida are expected to see the worst of the storm, while the rest of the state will be sure to experience heavy rain and high wind speeds. Ensure you have a plan and plenty of supplies should evacuation be mandated. Be prepared to lose power— stock up on water and non-perishables, batteries, flashlights and gasoline.

Your roof is your structure’s first line of defense from the elements and it’s extremely important to reinforce it ahead of a hurricane.
- Inspect your roof for loose or cracked shingles or tiles. Replace and secure as needed.
- Check your attic from the inside for light shining through. If you see light, patch or tarp the hole from the outside, Schedule a repair as soon as possible
- Reinforce rafters and trusses with adhesive where they connect with the roof deck
- Inspect flashing for weak spots and decay. Patch or replace as needed to ensure rainwater stays out
- Hurricane winds could potentially lift the roof completely off. Hurricane clips secure the beams of your roof to the walls of your structure. Ensuring the system stays in place.
- Trim trees around the property. Weak, dead or heavy branches overhanging the structure could potentially cause serious damage to your roof and ultimately your interior.
