Mud season in Maine can turn clean shiny floors into dull and dingy ones, especially if you have animals tracking in paw prints!🐾 Water and a splash of clear ammonia will clean wood floors safely and allow them to shine again. Ongoing work at a Historic old home Downeast by Greg Goodman of Swenson Wood Floors!
Upstairs floors (3 BRs and hall) are done: Native spruce.🌲
In one pic, you can see gray paint at the bottom of the stairs. That's the "before" of the whole house (historically, painting these beautiful floors was a thing). Downstairs will be finished soon.
