This one was a journey… but 100% worth it.

A full home remodel with a completely fresh, modern, and unique feel.

The best part of this project was the clients. We spent a lot of time working together and built a great relationship along the way.

There is a tremendous amount of detail in this final product, and it truly wouldn’t have come together the way it did without the clients’ vision and style.

We couldn’t be happier for them and all the hard work and patience they put in to make this house their home.

We just wrapped up this custom home build in Afton and couldn’t wait to share the interior photos!

Exterior paint will be finished once the weather cooperates, but the inside is ready to show off 🏡

Before ➡️ After

We’re a little late getting this one posted. Here are the before and after pictures of this full remodel of an 1860 home in Winterset!

The clients goal was to fully update the home while still keeping the character and leaning into a 1930 esthetic for finishes.

The original hardwood floors were fully resanded and finished with a clear coat to bring them back to life. Antique tile fireplaces, vintage lighting fixtures, and wallpaper were added throughout the home. The clients also wanted to keep with the Southern tradition of blue ceilings, which added another unique historic touch.

On the exterior, the front porch was extended and new woodwork was built to match the original details of the home, keeping the historic look intact.

As we kick off the New Year, we’re feeling grateful for the clients and subs who worked alongside us and made the past year such a great one. Every build brings more knowledge, stronger teamwork, and better results.

We’re a bit late posting this portion of our project, but we couldn’t pass up sharing it!

Restoring a piece of history is always rewarding. For this 1860 porch refurbishment, we rebuilt and extended the porch by recreating every original detail, right down to the custom wood corbels.

Proud of the care and craftsmanship our team put into honoring this home’s character!
