We started a very large renovation project this month. We have finally finished 95% of the demo, filling six full dumpsters with mostly lathe and plaster. This two-tenant apartment will be turned back into a 4-bedroom, 2-bath, single-family home. We are moving on to replacing beams in the basement to fix some floors. We started some framing a few days ago. More photos will follow. Follow along on this very big project.

I know it's been awhile since we posted anything. I dug through the archives and found this basement remodel/finish. We framed off a second bathroom, family room, and another bedroom. A small bathroom remodel we finished yesterday. I was really bad at taking more before pictures on this one. The job included drywall patching, scraping popcorn ceiling away, new orange peel texture, and two coats of white paint. We replaced some missing baseboards and installed LVP click together for the floor. We updated the dryer vent, installed a really cool light with fan, and through back up the towel bars. Just a quick and simple upgrade can really change the look of a room.

Here's a small kitchen upgrade. This job involved minor drywall work. The clients knocked out the painting on a weekend. Then we came back in and installed Cardell Cabinets, countertops, and hardware. We also through in the backsplash for a beautiful touch. What a very cute kitchen.

This was a small porch upgrade. We replaced 5 windows and 1 storm door. Wrapped with aluminum trim. New vinyl siding. Then we reperpessed some old shiplap to give the inside a cozy feel.

This was a deck board replacement and new railing system install. Deck framing only needed minor repairs.

Every once in a while, you get a chance to work on your own house. We installed this all-cedar privacy fence on my personal home to corral our puppy dogs. After three months of drying, we treated it with a natural sealant and added some solar lights for a great look at night. The lights only last a couple of years, tops, but they are cheap and easy to replace.
