Building a two story writing studio for my wife. 10x12 with a 6x10 loft. Not quite done yet. Nestled in the woods there’s enough room for meditation and yoga and big desk.

we moved into the tiny house 2 months ago, and it’s been wonderful living-in-a-construction zone ever since 😅 there’s been so many changes just in the last 2 months.

learning how to have an efficient wood fire daily, how to go to the bathroom in a bucket, where to get free water in town, and how to cook outside in the elements! 🥶

I built this from scratch. It took me almost 6 months. Did all the electrical and plumbing myself (FIL helped with electric). Learned a lot from books and youtube. Made with love, care, and detail.

This cherry slab will be the kitchen counter at the tiny house. It is 100% hand planed, and it took me 20 hours to make it so smooth that it shines!

WOW. I did it. I made a perfect dovetail joint. Here it is in this walnut box! It’s “Instagram perfect”. Now I can move onto working with my new cherry slabs! 🍒
