An Ice Storm is possible north of Madison and Milwaukee for Monday afternoon through Tuesday. Thus a Winter Storm Watch is in effect. Freezing rain causing ice accumulations of 0.20-0.50 inches is forecast north of Madison and Milwaukee. Likely impacts if an ice storm occurs, would be widespread icing of roads, sidewalks, power lines, and trees. Power outages would be possible.

Winter safety Tip of the week: With temperatures below 0* most salt based deicing agents stop working at 5*. We recommend the use of sand for driveways and deicing agent that are effective to -35* for sidewalks. Both services provided by Jay's Handyman Service

Have you signed your snow plow contract yet???

The first snow of the season is in the works for Thursday - Friday night from the Dakotas, Minnesota to eastern Nebraska on east through Iowa and Wisconsin. Some areas could see several inches but even places like Iowa and Nebraska could get a coating of snow on the grass and cars Friday night as arctic air rushes in during the day Friday and lasts through the weekend! Stay tuned!
