Concrete tank pad removed and tanks floated right up and out with minimal excavation. The tanks are cleaned out before removal so they can be hauled off in a dumpster to the landfill. This tank install is going to be a fun one with the high water table and unstable soil. Shoring arrives Monday

Reclaimed this 3 acre research pad back to farmland. 5 1/2 day project all by myself. Carefully scraped 12” of stone off the fabric. Loaded out stone and picked up fabric. Spread topsoil back over site and ripped everything. The corn stalk pile posed a whole new level of stinky fun. Thankfully there was enough dirt mixed in to make it semi manageable with a lot of track packing. I always love a good challenge.

Day 2 and all the shoring panels are in and we finished the excavation. Tomorrow morning we will install the long whaler beams down the sides and remove the center supports. Then set the deadman and pea gravel the bottom.
