🌿 A little plant transformation moment 🌿

These plant came in needing some fresh substrate to improve drainage and we opted to put my client's marble pothos on a moss pole. It’s amazing what a difference the right substrate and support can make.

Sometimes plants aren’t “failing” — they’re just struggling in the wrong environment.

Fresh soil, healthier roots, better support, and proper care can completely change how a plant grows over time.

Watching plants bounce back never gets old 💚

If you have a plant that’s been looking a little unhappy lately, feel free to send a photo, I’m always happy to help!

Summer is actually one of the best times to repot many houseplants! During the warmer months, most plants are actively growing, which means they’re usually able to adjust to fresh soil, new pots, and root work much more easily than during slower winter months.

Signs your plant may be ready for a repot:
- roots growing from drainage holes
- soil drying out extremely fast
- stunted or slowed growth
- compacted or old soil
- the plant becoming top heavy or unstable

A proper repot can help improve:
🌿 drainage
🌿 airflow to roots
🌿 nutrient availability
🌿 overall plant health and growth

If your plants have been looking a little tired lately, summer is a great time to give them a fresh start 🌱

🌿 From struggling → thriving 🌱

This pothos n' joy came in needing a little extra attention, including some root work and fresh substrate and it’s amazing what a difference the right environment can make.

Sometimes plants don’t need to be replaced, they just need proper care, healthier roots, and a fresh foundation.

Watching plants bounce back never gets old 💚

If you have a plant that’s looking a little sad lately, feel free to send a photo — I’m always happy to help take a look!

Plant Spotlight: Philodendron Florida Varieties

One of the most unique and recognizable climbing Philodendrons .

The Philodendron Florida family includes beautiful varieties like:
- Florida Green
- Florida Beauty
- Florida Ghost

Each one has the same iconic leaf shape, but with its own unique colors and characteristics.

🌱 Florida Green is known for its rich green foliage and vigorous growth
🤍 Florida Ghost produces pale minty-white new leaves that darken over time
✨ Florida Beauty combines the dramatic leaf shape with stunning variegation

Like many climbing Philodendrons, these plants thrive best with:
• bright indirect light
• chunky, well-draining substrate
• consistent moisture
• proper vertical support as they mature

One of the coolest things about Florida varieties is how much they transform as they climb and mature, especially when given the right support 🌿

Definitely a favorite among collectors for a reason!

Plants can completely change the feel of a space.

Whether it’s a salon, office, café, boutique, or waiting area, healthy plants help create an environment that feels more welcoming, calming, and intentional .

But keeping commercial plants healthy long-term can be challenging between busy schedules, changing conditions, and inconsistent care.

That’s why we offer commercial plant care services designed to help businesses maintain healthy, thriving plants without the added stress.

Services may include:
🌿 routine plant maintenance
🌿 watering and monitoring
🌿 pruning and cleanup
🌿 support installations
🌿 repotting and substrate refreshes
🌿 plant health assessments

We’re currently accepting a limited number of commercial clients in areas such as Boyne City, Ga***rd, Petoskey, Charlevoix, Indian River & surrounding areas 💚

If your business has plants or you’ve been thinking about adding them, we’d love to help!

Check out the difference proper support can make. This adansonii was on a moss pole for 4 months and is flourishing!

Monsteras and many climbing plants aren’t meant to grow outward forever, they naturally want to climb.

Without support, plants often:
• stretch outward
• produce smaller leaves
• become unstable over time

Adding a moss pole helps encourage stronger upward growth, better structure, and larger more mature foliage over time.

This is one of the biggest transformations you can make for climbing plants, both aesthetically and for their long-term health.

If your plant is starting to lean, crawl, or outgrow its space, it may be ready for support 🌿
