We just wrapped up a project for a lovely family—my brother’s, actually!—who wanted a yard that felt just as welcoming and functional as the inside of their home. The focus? A space that’s safe for their little one and pup, easy to maintain, and perfect for play, BBQs, and family gardening! 🙌

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Irrigation and Lighting Technician who will also serve as a floater for our maintenance and special projects crew. This role requires expertise in irrigation systems, outdoor lighting installations, and general landscaping maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for enhancing outdoor environments.

Responsibilities:

Irrigation System Installation and Maintenance:
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation systems.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure the proper functioning of irrigation equipment.
Adjust irrigation schedules and settings to optimize water usage and plant health.
Outdoor Lighting Installation and Maintenance:
Install and maintain outdoor lighting systems, including wiring, fixtures, and controls.
Troubleshoot and repair lighting system issues, such as wiring problems and fixture malfunctions.
Collaborate with clients to design and implement custom lighting solutions for their outdoor spaces.
Landscaping Maintenance:
Assist with general landscaping maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, pruning, and weeding.
Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Follow established maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the health and vitality of plants and turf.
Special Projects Support:
Provide support to the maintenance and special projects crew as needed.
Assist with landscape renovations, hardscape installations, and other special projects.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance.
Familiarity with outdoor lighting systems and installation techniques.
Strong knowledge of landscaping maintenance practices and techniques.
Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
