We are looking for a journeyman electrician to work on residential and commercial projects for our busy electrical company. Will act independently with little direction conducting electrical installations, maintenance, repair & services. Weekdays and some weekend and evening hours. Some travel required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-Install, repair & test industrial, commercial & residential electrical systems.
-Ability to effectively use common industry hand tools & power tools.
-Document actions, testing results, observations, for each job or situation using application.
-Ability to accurately measure, cut, bend, thread with minimal waste.
-Ability to read & operate off of schematics, blueprints & electrical drawings independently.
-Ability to meet established deadlines & independently problem-solve.
-Company vehicle & apprentice commensurate with experience.
-Strong interpersonal skills & ability to manage projects to ensure they are on time & under budget.
-Use ladders, scaffolding, platform, and lifts to work on electrical systems in residential homes, on roadside poles and in commercial properties
-Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and through reporting violations of policies, procedures, and guidelines to immediate supervisor
-Maintain equipment to ensure it is in good condition and can operate or be used safely; report any issues to immediate supervisor
Job Skills and Qualifications
Required:
-Oregon Journeyman Electrical License
-Willingness to apply for WA & Additional licensure.
-Ability to climb ladders & work in tight spaces.
-Knowledge of common NEC & Oregon specialty electrical codes.
-Ability to research electrical codes accurately & effectively.
-Knowledge of common electrical equipment, tools & other products.
-Must be able and willing to travel out of State
-Valid driver's license and clean driving record
-Must pass criminal background check
-Ability to work independently and efficiently
Preferred:
-Experience using Google calendar and mobile apps
-Good customer service skills
