We are seeking experienced Excavators to join our team! If you have experience reading plans and elevations, we want to hear from you. We are also open to training beginners who are eager to learn.

Key Requirements:
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for heavy equipment
- Coordination to operate controls on various equipment
- Sufficient strength to handle heavy equipment controls
- Ability to stay seated for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills for equipment diagnosis
- Excellent oral communication skills for on-site interactions
- Basic writing skills for reports and paperwork
- Clean noncommercial driver’s license history

General Knowledge of:
- Cranes
- Excavators
- Forklifts
- Bulldozers
- Dump trucks
- Backhoes
- Graders
- Front-end loaders

Modern Foundations is currently seeking qualified equipment operators.

Operators will be responsible for digging, backfilling, and fine grading various projects including residential homes, light commercial and other projects. Projects are located primarily in the Howard, Carroll, Frederick, Montgomery and Anne Arundel Counties.

Requirements:
-5 Years experience digging/backfilling/fine grading for residential and light commercial projects
-Knowledge of building plans and site plans
-Ability to operate a variety of equipment (track loaders, skid steers, excavators, etc)
-Must possess a clean driving record
-Must be able to pass a drug test and random drug tests

Compensation: Hourly DOE, Company Vehicle, Health Insurance Contribution, paid leave and holidays.
