TV outlet installed above fireplace. Wire was fished behind wall without cutting any holes in drywall. On this install we got lucky. But sometimes we have to cut holes in order to get electrical wires above fire place or any installation that drywall already exist.

Kitchen remodel. All new lights and outlets were replaced. Replaced regular outlets in kitchen with gfci outlets to meet new electrical code. Recessed lights were installed. Recessed lights make all the difference. Chandelier was replaced.

Replacement of outdoor outlet and cover. New gfci outlet and cover meet new building and electrical code. Old outside covers like seen in the picture no longer meet electrical code.

Please, don’t ignore these types of electrical issues. Electrical fires are avoidable. This burnt outlet and damaged drywall was caused by loose wires. If wires are not properly tighten this is the cause. All wires need to be tightened. Wires expand and contract when a load is applied to the outlet or circuit and if the wires are loose they start to arch. Causing fires if left untreated.
