A five-unit building is experiencing hydrostatic pressure from a failed existing storm line connected to a single sump pump. We will dig up and cap the end of the existing storm line. We have installed two new sump basins, three sump pumps all with battery backups. For the internet warriors the check valve is inside the sump basin. The 1 1/2 pvc still needs to be fully secured to the foundation wall. Three out of five core drills are complete. We are tying all five units together so that if a homeowner’s sump pump fails, there are four additional pumps to pick up the slack until it gets replaced. This setup includes two primaries and two battery backups, utilizing a total of six float-activated pumps.We have trenched and piped approximately 140 feet of interior drainage, with 140 to 150 feet left to go. The discharge lines will be dug in the morning, and we will be ready for our first set of inspections tomorrow late afternoon.

290ft of interior waterproofing starting Monday with 3 sump pumps. One building, 5 different units and 5 different Homeowners. Lots of prep work and lots of 5 gallon buckets ahead of us.
