🎃 THE HAUNTING OF BACKFLOW MANOR 🎃
It started with a strange call late one October night. Jessie answered — but there was no voice on the other end. Just the sound of running water… and a faint whisper that said, “Help… the pipes…”
She hung up, thinking it was a prank. But seconds later, the phone rang again — same number, same whisper. Haley picked it up this time, her face pale as she patched Bryan in. Within minutes, the crew — Dustin, Randy, and Ed — were in their trucks heading to the old house on Sycamore Street.
When they arrived, the air felt heavy. The lights inside flickered, and the faint smell of sulfur drifted from the drains. The house had been abandoned for years, yet water was pouring somewhere deep within the walls.
Dustin checked the main line. Randy tested the fixtures. Ed went to the basement — where he found the old pipes vibrating like they were breathing.
Then came the voices. They echoed up through the drains, each one whispering a name: “Dustin… Randy… Ed…”
Bryan grabbed his flashlight and stepped into the darkness. The temperature dropped, and the sound of water turned into laughter — low and hollow, gurgling through the pipes. When he turned the main shutoff, the house went silent. Dead silent.
Just as they were about to leave, Jessie radioed in — her voice shaky.
“Bryan… the call just came through again… from inside that house.”
The crew stared back at the dark windows. A faint glow pulsed behind the curtains — like water reflecting from a drain that shouldn’t be running.
They left without looking back. But when Haley checked the call log later that night, the number was still there.
