My husband and I are planning a pergola project for our backyard, and Cory came to our home to take measurements, explain everything clearly, and answer all of our questions with so much patience and kindness.
He even brought samples and showed us how the pergola works, which made the whole process feel much easier and more exciting. The presentation was excellent, and honestly that means a lot to me. Sometimes consultants seem rushed or want to jump straight to pricing, but Cory took the time to really explain the details and make sure we felt comfortable and informed before anything else.
He also gave us a strong sense of confidence throughout the entire meeting. You could tell he really knew what he was talking about, and he made us feel comfortable and confident about the project and the company overall.

Great review from Fran... "We enclosed a patio with electronic screens and installed heaters and a big screen tv. This has given us an extension to our house and we can now use our patio year round. We are very pleased with our new enclosed deck and recommend Modern Shade as a reputable and professional company. Workers were very professional and courteous and worked tirelessly to please us and to ensure that our installation caused minimal damage to our house. We were especially pleased that the electrician did not put any holes in our basement family room. The owner of the company was very available and kind in helping us bring this project to fruition. The completion of our project was done quickly and without delay. It is our pleasure to recommend Modern Shade without any hesitation to anyone who may be looking to enclose an outdoor area. Great review from Jerry... "Modern Shade transformed my 2 acre property to be a lot more useable. The patio cover created a complete out door living space. Protected from wind and debris. Along with heat, misters, lighting, wall screens, speakers and automatic louvered ceilings. My pool cover is a floating deck that can be used for additional decking when open or closed. They installed a beautiful 4’ fence around my sport court with built in lighting. I own a large home building company in northern AZ. As a builder I would recommend them.
