Take a look at this finished porch expansion! We were able to extend the exterior walls, providing additional space. New lighting and a fan were installed as well. With new custom screens, this is a truly enjoyable space!

Cheaper is better…. Right???
Unless you’re Warren Buffett or Elon Musk, your home is undoubtedly the biggest investment you’ll ever make. No matter what the project, whether it’s a kitchen remodel, new deck or patio, or even a small repair, cheaper is definitely not always better. In my experience over the last 25 years, you will almost always get what you pay for. Especially when it comes to home improvement.

Before hiring anyone, here are a few things every homeowner should ask:

✅ Do they communicate clearly and return calls?
✅ Can they provide references or examples of their work?
✅ Do they provide a detailed written estimate?

Many of you know that I've owned VGC continuously since 2001, even though I wasn't actively operating the business from 2012 through 2026. During that time, I pursued other professional opportunities, gained valuable experience, and continued learning and growing both personally and professionally.

Today, I'm excited to say that I'm returning to what has always been close to my heart.

Vine General Contracting isn't a new company. It's a business with a foundation that's been in place for over 25 years, now entering a new chapter with renewed focus, experience, and purpose.
