Project delivery extends beyond structure. It includes how a space supports the people who use it every day.

As teams grow, the spaces they rely on can become less effective. What once worked begins to feel constrained, and shared environments no longer support how work happens day to day.

Santmyer Phase 2 focused on refining 4,100 square feet of existing office space to better support that growth. The emphasis was on shared environments, including a dedicated conference room and an expanded breakroom, designed to improve both collaboration and overall experience.

Finishes, technology, and layout decisions were made with a clear understanding of how the space would be used over time, while also allowing flexibility for future needs. The updated areas were carefully aligned with the look and feel established in Phase 1, creating a cohesive design across the project.

Supportive spaces like these play a direct role in the employee experience, creating opportunities for teams to step away, connect, and reset throughout the day.

Yes, commercial buildings can be expanded later if there is adequate room on-site and the project meets structural and regulatory requirements.

When expansion is part of the early planning process, buildings can be designed to make future additions much easier. That might include planning structural connections, positioning the building on the site to allow additional square footage, or ensuring utilities can support future growth.
