The calm before the storm. Tomorrow Barrows Paving & Excavating will be here to do the new sewer connection. We were able to hammer a bunch of the boulders and hauled a bunch of rock out to make room for the sewer and new driveway. Getting closer to starting the frame.

Ran into an iceberg on our current yard grading project. We attempted to pop the top off with our Trow and Holden wedges and shims but we were fighting the grain. Ahearn Equipment, Inc. to the rescue with the hammer.

Apologies to our . We’ve been slacking on posting but things are still moving along. Here are some unitymike photos of the foundation placement. Since then we’ve waterproofed and installed drainage around the footings. We’re currently awaiting a sewer connection then we will finish backfilling and start framing. Also a huge thanks to Mark Sinkewich and Wachusett Excavating for sending the stone slinger to fill the void between the addition and existing house.

Someone got some new kicks today! Thank you to Brandon at Ahearn Equipment, Inc. parts department for the quick supply of some new tracks for the Kubota Tractor Corporation SCL 1000. The May track sale was perfect timing and the cost for OEM was actually less than others quoted for available aftermarket tracks.
