Our 2026 university internship program has officially kicked off. We are excited to welcome 94 interns, including 42 rising seniors, working in a variety of roles across the company.

This class of interns represents 31 different schools and 37 different majors including Accounting and Audit, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, Applied Engineering and Construction Management, Building Construction, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Construction Management, Emergency Management and Homeland Security, Geographic Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Occupational Safety and Environmental Health, Welding and Fabrication Engineering Technology.

We are excited for a summer of bold ideas, new skills, and unforgettable experiences!

As part of our Memorial Day tradition, Allan Myers proudly supports Wreaths Across America, honoring our fallen veterans, those who serve, and the generations who will carry on their legacy.

This year, more than 100 wreaths were placed at cemeteries near our asphalt plant locations, helping ensure local heroes are remembered in the communities we call home.

We’re honored to continue this meaningful tradition and reflect on those who served and sacrificed.

A loss felt deeply across our team.

Thank you for your care and concern regarding the recent incident on Route 30 near Coatesville, PA.

Two of our Allan Myers family tragically lost their lives when a tractor-trailer entered our work zone, striking multiple vehicles. Two additional colleagues were transported to a local hospital and released.

An investigation is ongoing. Our focus remains on supporting those impacted.

We ask that you please join us in prayer for their families, friends, and colleagues.

This week is Construction Safety Week. This year’s theme, “All in Together – Recognize, Respond, Respect,” reinforces the idea that safety is not owned by one person or one role. It requires all of us to recognize the activities before work begins, respond by putting the right controls in place, and respect every hazard, every task, and every individual involved in the work.

Two of our asphalt paving projects were recognized among Maryland’s best at the 62nd Annual Paving Conference, an annual celebration of craftsmanship, innovation, and roadway excellence. Each year, the Maryland Asphalt Association's (MAA) 62nd Annual Paving Conference and the Maryland State Highway Administration review top projects statewide, and in 2025, two of the 14 honored projects were ours.

Two projects brought home top honors this year, including a Primary Resurfacing Award for the US 13 northbound project from the Pocomoke River to north of Costen Road. The Secondary Resurfacing Award went to the MD 16 project from Pinetown Road to Beauchamp Branch Road, both standout efforts showcasing exceptional quality, performance, and teamwork by our Maryland crews.
