In 2017, Cavalry Extermination was created to provide professional pest control with a personalized touch. After working for almost a decade in the industry, David Amundson struck out on his own. His top priority was always to provide fast, friendly, and affordable services, and that is how he built a name for himself. David was incredibly knowledgeable and honest about your pest control needs, guaranteeing his work to ensure your issues were resolved, even if that required a free follow up or two. His character made him a success, but he also made a few friends along the way.
Unfortunately, in July 2022, David was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukemia. He was able to keep the business open with the help of some temporary staff. As his wife, even I helped, as much as I could serving customers when I wasn’t busy being a mother to our son, Benjamin. David underwent a bone marrow transplant in May 2023, but after 4 months of remission, the leukemia came back with a vengeance, and David succumbed to the disease in March 2024.
Though I needed time to grieve along with my son, family, and many friends, I never forgot about you. You were important to David and me both. I am forever grateful for the support you provided us so I could leave my job out of the home and transition to a life as a stay at home mom. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible for me to keep the business operational as my role as a mom is my first priority. I diligently searched for a pest control company that could continue to provide you the great service you have come to know. I am pleased to announce my search led me to Bulwark Exterminating and their excellent professional, Daniel Talahytewa. I have no doubt this company and technician will continue to provide you with great service that well represents David’s initial mission.
Meet Daniel. He is a seasoned pest control specialist who is newly married and has four pets, two sweet dogs and a pair of adorable rats. In his free time, he enjoys skateboarding and spending time with his family. Daniel is committed to handling your pest control needs with the same care and diligence as David.
