CLASS B DELIVERY DRIVER
Full-Time Position

C.C. Allis & Sons, Inc. is seeking a dependable Class B Delivery Driver to safely transport building materials to customers’ homes, businesses, and job sites.

The ideal candidate will have excellent driving and communication skills, a strong commitment to safety, and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely and accurately load and deliver customer orders.
• Verify order details and obtain customer signatures on delivery tickets.
• Collect and properly document payments for COD orders.
• Use directions or navigation tools to locate delivery addresses efficiently.
• Accurately record all required delivery information.
• Treat customers with courtesy and respect.
• Communicate customer questions, requests, or complaints to store personnel promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles.
• Perform routine vehicle safety inspections according to company guidelines.
• Assist in the yard and warehouse with loading, stocking, and organizing materials.
• Help customers load materials and answer product questions when not making deliveries.
• Follow all company safety standards and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Class B driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• At least one year of professional driving experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials preferred.
• Forklift and/or Moffett experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to performing all job responsibilities safely.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods while driving.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull loads weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

That’s a wrap! Our 2026 Customer Appreciation Golf Tournament was less like golf and more like a long overdue gathering of old and new friends!
