Tried something new on this new house we are building. House is to be constructed as a slab house, meaning no basement or crawl space. We decided to do poured walls and try them ourselves. Thanks to the skillful guidance of Mark Tims and the crew up to Oggi concrete supply, it went very well. Really enjoyed putting them together and working with the steel form system.
Also, if you’re looking for concrete pumping capabilities, Jordan Wagler from EZ Does it concrete pumping will make your day a whole lot less stressful.

Timber frame pavilion we built this week. All 10x10 main beams, 4x6 rafters and 2x8 tongue and groove roof boards. Still need to do the stone around the bottoms of the pillars and puts some wiring in it, but she’s almost ready for company.

Final finishing touches on this lake house! Homeowner loves it and said “it’s exactly what I wanted”😍😍. Thank you to her for being understanding with all my constant texts and pictures, it’s always nerve wracking to have project going on with the customer 3 hours away. So glad she’s happy.

Facebook has been yelling at me for “not engaging my audience”. I’ve been lax about putting photos on for sure. We’re thundering down the home stretch on this one. Painting is done, 90 percent of the electrical, waiting on a front door so we can finish the siding. The amount of natural light coming in the big windows in the master bedroom is awesome.

Put the final touches on this house today. Took advantage of the sunlight and snapped some pics of the outside. Countertops were set, all that is left to do is clean the floor tomorrow and this one is done till some landscaping in the spring. The crew and I did everything on this one, from site development to the septic system, and all the way through to the trim and flooring, with the exception of the drywall and heating work. One of my favorite parts of this job is bringing a house to its final phase and seeing all the planning and forethought come through in the end stage. The countertops are granite, with delicatus in the bathrooms and lava oro in the kitchen. On to the next one on Monday!!

As the sun sets on another year, I’d like to say thank you to all my customers, suppliers and supporters. I truly appreciate all of you who make it possible for me to do what I really truly enjoy. Looking forward to what 2026 brings!!

Few shots of what we’ve been working on. The exterior of the house is 99 percent done, just waiting on exterior doors. Some of the most fun part of a new house is installing the kitchen and having the homeowner come in and be like “wowwww”. All the kitchen and laundry cabinets are in, now it’s time for granite templates.
