🔨 Master Bathroom Remodel Update | Wylie, TX

We’re making great progress on this master bathroom remodel in Wylie! This week, we’ve moved into the drywall, finishing, and painting phase as we get closer to putting the final touches on this transformation.

There’s a lot that goes into getting walls and ceilings ready for paint—especially during a remodel where new construction has to blend seamlessly with the existing home. Our team has been working through the drywall repairs, taping and bedding joints, floating uneven areas, and preparing the surfaces to create a smooth, consistent finish throughout the bathroom.

We’ve also taken the time to carefully mask and protect the new vanity cabinetry, freestanding tub, windows, flooring, doorways, and surrounding areas before spraying and painting. Proper preparation is one of the most important parts of a quality paint job, and protecting the finishes that are already installed is just as important as the painting itself.

Once the drywall work is complete, the walls and ceilings are primed and painted to give the entire bathroom a clean, refreshed appearance and help all of the new finishes come together.

It may not be the most glamorous stage of a remodel, but good drywall and paint preparation makes a huge difference in the finished product. The details underneath the final coat are what help create that crisp, professional look when everything is complete.

🚿 Master Bathroom Remodel Update — Wylie, TX! 🛁

Another big step forward on this master bathroom transformation! Today we installed the new freestanding tub, and this space is really starting to come together.

So far, we’ve completed:
🔹 Large-format tile throughout the shower and tub area
🔹 Custom shower niche
🔹 Matte black shower and tub fixtures
🔹 Hexagon floor tile
🔹 New vanity cabinetry
🔹 And now the freestanding soaking tub!

We love the contrast between the light tile, dark flooring, matte black finishes, and the new vanity color. There are still a few finishing touches left—including countertops, glass, trim, paint, and final details—but we’re getting close to the finish line!
