Been doing a lot of sawing for new customers and business partners Wood from the Hood and Siewert Cabinet and fixture in Minneapolis. Mostly sawing diseased ash trees removed by the city into lumber that will be converted into table and chair sets sold by Room and Board. In addition I trained some of their employees to operate a mill similar to ours.

So I was resawing some old fir timbers from a warehouse built in the 1890's. In one timber I sawed through a small caliber bullet. Given the age of the building and that the bullet was near the center of it, it was probably fired into the original tree somewhere around 1790 - 1800. Errant shot, target practice??
