This position works closely with the Office Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Manager(s) and Foremen.
This is a part-time position of 12-15 hours a week. Schedule is somewhat flexible. There will be hours that are required to be at the office or at project meetings to accomplish certain tasks, other hours can be flexible as long as it is communicated in advance and is somewhat regular.
This position reports to Christi Kitt. This position accrues sick time at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked. As part-time, this position is not benefits eligible.
Tasks to include but are not limited to:
• Entering in payroll information on Monday mornings (should be ready starting at 10am)
• Running payroll
• Entering in invoices, scanning, and attaching files in the Sage software program
• Paying invoices
• Entering in credit card receipts, balancing credit card statement
• Attending regular job meetings and taking meeting minutes, log and distribute
• Keeping subcontractor insurance certificates on file up to date
• Taking jobsite photos approximately every other week (on some jobs)
• Spreadsheet up to date on OSHA 10, CPR Certification, Tetanus, etc
• Errands to city, county, plan center, office supply shopping, lunches to job sites at times, etc.
• Safety folder assembly
• HR forms/binders assembled
• Operations, Maintenance & Warranty binder assembly (includes requesting info from subcontractors)
• Marketing Assistance: Marketing packets, photos, delivering cookies, sending thank you notes, Christmas mailing, etc.
• Culture Committee Member: Keeping things real and fun. Planning spring gathering, Christmas Party, mini gifts, other.
• Weekly posts to Facebook highlighting jobs
o Sign off obtained by owner to get ok if they want Facebook posts throughout construction
• Prevailing wage certified reports weekly (for prevailing wage jobs)
o Collecting subcontractor certified payroll
• Light office cleaning
• Other duties as assigned
Errands ran for Kitt Construction are paid at hourly rate plus $0.50 per mile.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a valid Washington State Driver’s License and insurance
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Proficient with use of computers and email

Team player
