Lower cost doesn’t have to mean lower quality.

Andrew explains how the Founders Collection keeps pricing more affordable by simplifying certain interior finishes, while still maintaining the same focus on structure, insulation, energy efficiency, roofing, windows, siding, and other core building systems.

The savings come from the finishes you can change later, not the parts of the home that matter most for performance and longevity.

Large-format gray tile, a frameless glass shower, warm wood cabinetry, and bright quartz surfaces give this space a clean, modern look with just the right amount of contrast.

The oversized shower and built-in niche make it as functional as it is polished.

This Holden plan in Pateros is really starting to take shape.

The roof is on, windows and doors are going in, and the covered outdoor area is already showing how this home will take advantage of the setting once it’s finished.

Still plenty to come, but it’s always fun to see the design start turning into a real home.

Affordable by design.

Andrew walks through the Oliver, a Founders Collection plan just under 900 square feet near Cle Elum, and explains how Lexar keeps the base cost lower with simplified finishes and fewer plan modifications.

You still get an open kitchen, dining, and great room layout, making it a great option for an ADU, mother-in-law suite, guest house, or smaller primary home.

The tradeoff is less customization, but that consistency helps keep pricing more predictable.

A primary bathroom that feels equal parts polished and practical.

Warm wood cabinetry, a bright double vanity, an illuminated mirror, and a walk-in closet just steps away give this space a clean, elevated feel without sacrificing everyday function.

It’s the kind of primary suite setup that makes the routine feel a little better.

Tree removal is only part of the equation when you’re preparing land for a new home.

As Andrew explains, old root systems can extend well beyond the stump and may need to be removed before excavation and construction can move forward. That’s true for heavily wooded properties and even old orchard land.

It’s one of those site development details that’s easy to overlook until you’re actually preparing to build on your land.
