Interior rough in is in full force on the Nursing Home project as we’re making our way room by room to install all of the outlets, switches, equipment, lighting and fire alarm system before being ready for sheetrock! The spring weather came later this year and has slowed us down a touch, but we’re trying to stay caught up as best we can between storms and outage calls and being too muddy for outside projects. We appreciate everyone’s patience, flexibility and understanding on scheduling out projects! We appreciate your continued support!

The guys prepping the underground portion for the new automatic backup generators on this project! Big shoutout to Jason Shepard and their crew for helping with the tight squeeze excavation and concrete work needed for this project and the timeline required! We appreciate it greatly! Now to finish up it and prepare for shutdowns which will be a challenge, but we’re ready to tackle it!

This week was a reminder of just how blessed I am.

My family and I were able to step away for a few days and enjoy some much needed vacation time. As a business owner that’s not always easy to do.

When you’re responsible for customers, projects, employees and their families it’s hard to completely unplug.

While we were away our crew absolutely crushed it.

They showed up and took care of our customers, completed jobs, solved problems and represented KJ Electrical Contracting exactly the way I hoped they would. I’m incredibly grateful for every one of them.

A business is only as strong as its people and this week proved that we have an outstanding team. Thank you to our employees for your hard work, dedication and commitment to continuously raising the standard every single day.

We hear it all the time. “I seen your pictures of a big project you were working on so we didn’t want to bother you with our little job.”

Not the case! We are more than willing to take a look at all of your projects big or small! With rain outside, the guys are staying dry inside as they get started with roughing in this new three level commercial remodel project! This will be an awesome mixed use space when it’s all finished up! The crew has been head down working hard for a long time and we appreciate all that they do to make sure our customers and general contractors are taken care of and schedules on track!

The crew has been hard at it this week trying to continue with the feeder conduits to supply power throughout the building in the future. The different trusses, heights and orientation of the building is making it a fun challenge to route everything. Even in what seems like a big building shrinks down in the attic space once you account for electrical, plumbing, duct work, sprinkler system, fire alarm and much more equipment that needs to go in everywhere. We like a good challenge though and the guys are making great progress before walls and roof starts closing things up and the heat really bakes us inside!
